Wildlife Sanctuary destruction: A cataclysm in the woods
A
catastrophic weather phenomenon flattened an estimated 50,000 trees over 332
hectares in Mulugu’s Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary on August 31, devastating
the landscape. As officials and environment experts scramble to find out why it
happened and what needs to be done, P. Laxma Reddy visits the site to report on
the intricacies of the rare incident, its impact on the villagers and the
future of a forest intertwined with their lives
The
Eturunagaram nature sanctuary located at 18.341, 80.33 in Warangal in Telangana
State experienced tumultuous shaking of the ground from the forces of the world’s
dams acting through their centre of gravity located at 24.5546, 120.7709. The
destruction is abstracted in the Hindu of October 4. 2024 as quoted above but
did not give any clue as to the root cause. Research of the issue by me indicates
that the world’s dams are the root cause. Using as the proxy for dam content
changes the earthquakes caused by dams as derived from raw data at USGS
earthquake search between 1 August 2024 to 31 August 2024, the findings
are summarised below pertinent to the
destruction of the nature sanctuary.
Summary
of the findings.
The shear
strength of the soil at Eturunagaram nature sanctuary was exceeded 307 times by
the applied shear force stress due to the worldwide dam content changes during
the period applied over the 812 km^2 entire area of the sanctuary. This assumes
that all the water moment energy applied was converted to shaking. On the other
hand if all the entire water moment energy were converted to heating a meter of
the soil depth over the entire 812 km^2 area of the sanctuary, the average
temperature rise for the same 307 instances as the shear stress violation would
be 2054 degrees K and the maximum 305720 K! Such a mixture of forces would have
also resulted in tornado like winds uprooting of the trees. From this analysis,
the inference is clearly that the world dam dynamics caused the cataclysm. See
Table 1 in this regard.
But there
is one more sobering finding from the analysis regarding the earth shaking issues
by the world dam dynamics. Suffice it to cite one example out of 307 or more from
the earthquake proxy for the period under study. See Table 2.
In a
matter of a minute and 18 seconds from 0741hrs to 0742 hrs, World dam dynamics caused the
Eturunagaram nature sanctuary to be pushed upwards from a dam content change of
33.3 CM to a dam content change of 19.33 BCM(More than 2 million Mt. Everest Heights
of 8848m) caused by a dam caused earthquake of 7.1 MM moment magnitude. This
corresponded to a push up vertically by an acceleration of about 145 m/s/s. In
one second the entire mass of 812 km^2 and 1 m depth- the entire Sanctuary
would be lifted up 145 m is one second. Minutes later the mass would drop down
because the dam content change has gone to zero! See Table 2 below:
Such
alternating push and drops occurred at least 307 times during August 2024. Note
in the instance above, the shock input temperature reached 305720 K for the
whole of the sanctuary! And the applied shear stress reached 4 orders of
magnitude fold the shear strength of the soil of 100000 Pascals.
