Hoolock Gibbon, the only ape in India is threatened as its habitat would be destroyed by oil and gas exploration.

The Hoolock gibbons' habitats are drastically reducing. Unless the habitat is as large as possible, the hoolock gi bbons will random walk to extinction(3).
