What kind of same bau(business as usual) is this stupidity on the part of world rulers on this anachronistic policy? 4 decades ago when Bharat Mata's citizens brought to the notice of the world bank the unacceptable dangers of the world’s dams, they conducted their own independent study of the Sardar Sarovar and Narmada dams and they saw wisdom and stopped funding the project. But they were myopic enough to fund other dams across the globe. Till today they have not seen the connection between the dams and climate change.
By the way Deccan Herald is publishing daily weather reports not questioning why Agumbe rainfall data is NA for several weeks now. That was in September 2024 corrected after some time. Now in January 2025 for several weeks now the same things are repeating for Ballari. It is now 5th Febtuary 2025 and still data for Ballari is NA. IMD is sleeping over it and on everything about dams being the cause of climate change. KUMBAKARNA stop and wake up and act so living beings can continue to live.

World Dam Dynamics has made living much more difficult by causing extreme climatic changes. Dams are slaves of gravity and since they are inert are unable to pump waters high into the sky unlike living beings like forests(1). The sun's infinite negentropy sucks groundwaters through the trees and other plants high into the sky using osmosis and transpiration in proportion to the dry biomass density of vegetation. This automatic atmospheric distribution network of plants recharge groundwaters through multiple reuse cycles driven by the sun. This enables plants to distribute nutritious water throughout the world at two orders of magnitude less land use than what dams use to deliver the same amount of water. Note that since dams use hundred or more times land than forests to provide the same amount of water, we should expect that Figure 1 transforms to Figure 2 when dams are removed worldwide and by assisted forest regeneration. We can expect habitat preservation and avoidance of conflict between humans and flora and fauna(2).

Further dam removal and assisted forest regeneration will bring back normal climate and prevent dam made catastrophes like earthquakes, extremes of rain and geomorphological changes of moving more than ten trillion tons of earth in minutes equivalent to one thousand one megaton hydrogen bomb explosions. Modern civilization’s land use is suicidal.

1.The common antecedents and hence the root cause of many disasters turns out to be the world’s dams because:  1) The dams require for surface water storage 100 fold the land used by forests to provide the same amount of water by underground storage; 2)   of their design invalidating forces continuously applied on the earth, repeatedly in each year. The wild man is doing little to correct this situation because of his wild nature(1,2,3).

The phenomenon that confronts us daily is called modern civilization, a society of specialists. In this society across the globe, the wild man, let alone not being interested in the security and welfare of fellow human beings, is uninterested in living beings in general. Rape and murder and infact omnicide is proceeding as an epidemic across the globe across all living beings presided over by the wild persons. That is why Mahatma Gandhi warned in 1908 in his classic treatise Hind Swaraj: The West can meet the East when the West throws overboard almost the whole of modern civilization. The West can also meet the East when the East embraces modern civilization. And he continued: Given enough time modern civilization will destroy itself. The solution lies not in continuing with this suicide but to rise above this and adopt a normal civilization based on truth and small self sufficient communities. The Gita for instance shows a successful way with a little bit of trust in harmony with nature.  Respect living beings and nurturing one another live in full enjoyable employment of living energy. Let production, consumption and RETURN be the law for zero cost wasteless life.

Modern civilization must be abandoned for a process of need based production, consumption and RETURN.
I mean RETURN that can be absorbed by the earth readily so the process is wasteless. The Gita extols virtuous RETURN as action  born out of true knowledge so that the disorder created during living is converted back to a high degree of order by absorbing the negentropy made available by the earth. Less than a day and a quarter before the sinking of the superyacht Bayesian on 19 August 2024, far east Russia was struck by a major 7.0 MM magnitude earthquake. The so called freak storm hit the superyacht sinking it before or by 2:30 AM UTC. These events, after similar analysis of past similar events, points to World Dam Dynamics as the root cause.
